Joel Foulds, better known as FOULDZY, is a Melbourne singer-songwriter with roots that run deep in the country. Growing up around the bush and waterways of Lake Eildon, he cut his teeth on country music, but he’s never been one to stay in one lane. FOULDZY’s sound is country at heart, but he stirs in rock, pop, and anything else that brings the songs to life, making every track fresh, raw, and unmistakably his. For years, FOULDZY has been winning over crowds all across Australia with his high-energy live shows, where twang meets grit, and country storytelling collides with big rock ‘n’ roll moments.

When he’s not playing with the full band, you’ll often catch him at a local watering hole with nothing but his six-string and a room to win over. When he’s not on stage, or sinking a few cold ones up in Yarrawonga or back in Eildon, you’ll find him at Electric Circus Studios in Melbourne, the creative hub he built from the ground up. There, he works with up-and-coming artists, guiding them through writing, recording, and even filming music videos, helping the next generation find their voice and bring their stories to life.

Now, with a brand-new EP titled ‘south of somewhere’, FOULDZY is gearing up for another big moment, an EP launch at the Leadbeater Hotel in Richmond on September 13th, where fans will get the first taste of the new tunes live. With plenty more music in the works, FOULDZY is proving that his journey is only just getting started. Country at its core, but always ready to bend the rules and throw in a bit of rock, pop, and whatever else the song calls for.
